Pledge to a Powerplay Faction
Open the Internals Panel (to your right, in the cockpit) and Select "Galactic Powers" to review each Powerplay Faction. It takes 4 weeks of loyalty and 750 Merits to obtain their Powerplay Module for your ships and the deadline to earn those Merits is no later than 3 weeks and 6 days before the tick on Thursday's at 07:00 AM UTC. Merits can be obtained by:
- transporting power play expansion or fortification commodities - a unit of expansion / fortification commodity equals one merit
- killing opposing power play faction ships for 25 merits per ship
Earning Merits to Unlock Power Play Modules (Contributor: CMDR Exigeous)
Imperial Hammers
- Obtainable when pledged to A. Lavigny-Duval
- A Rail Gun with burst modifications; instead of firing one shot, the Imperial Hammer splits the fire and staggers into 3 burst shots. Comes as a Medium Fixed Hardpoint.
Prismatic Shields
- Obtainable when pledged to Aisling Duval
- A higher shield strength variant of the regular Shield Generator but has extremely weak recovery rates and is expensive to purchase. Can be purchased in all size classes (Class 1-8).
Cytoscramblers
- Obtainable when pledged to Archon Delaine
- A modified Burst Laser variant whereby it is extremely effective at stripping shields, but does little to no damage to the hull. Comes as a Small Fixed Hardpoint.
Advanced Plasma Accelerators
- Obtainable when pledged to Denton Prateus
- A rapid firing variant of the normal Plasma Accelerators, but it packs a lighter punch than its normal counterpart. Comes as a Large Fixed Hardpoint.
Retributor Beam Lasers
- Obtainable when pledged to Edmund Mahon
- A heat distributing Beam Laser that targets the opponent's cooling system by dumping additional heat in exchange of less damage given. Comes as a Small Fixed Hardpoint.
Pulse Disruptor Lasers
- Obtainable when pledged to Felicia Winters
- A Pulse Laser with integrated Scramble Spectrum modification except that it malfunctions selected sub-target modules. Comes as a Medium Fixed Hardpoint.
Enforcer Cannons
- Obtainable when pledged to Pranav Antal
- A modified Multi Cannon that fires larger calibre rounds, that deals more damage at a longer range but has a slow rate of fire. Comes as a Small Fixed Hardpoint.
Pack-Hound Missile Rack
- Obtainable when pledged to Li Yong-Rui
- A modified Seeker Missile Rack that fires multiple micro-salvo seeking missiles that scramble making it hard for countermeasures to counter, but has reduced overall damage output. Comes as a Medium Seeking Fixed Hardpoint.
Pacifier Frag Cannons
- Obtainable when pledged to Zachary Hudson
- A more focused version of the normal Frag Cannon whereby pellets fire in a tighter spread making them effective for long-distances. Comes as a Large Fixed Hardpoint.
Mining Lances
- Obtainable when pledged to Zemina Torval
- Mining Lances is a Mining Laser variant that is capable of inflicting thermal damage while being effective at mining at longer distances. Comes as a Small Fixed Hardpoint.
Containment Missiles
- Obtainable when pledged to Yuri Grom
- Containment Missiles, commonly referred as "Grom Bombs" are fixed dumbfire missiles that are capable of disrupting the operation of the Frame Shift Drive module of up to 17 seconds when hit. Comes as a Medium Dumb-Fire Fixed Hardpoint.
