Built for both Surface and Core Mining with an emphasis on Shields, just in case you are mining in the Core Systems (The Bubble) and are trying to outrun Pirates that have you in their sights. If you decide to only Surface Mine, you can replace the 1D Abrasion Blaster, 2B Seismic Charge Launcher, and 2B Sub-surface Displacement Missile for three more 2D Mining Lasers; however, you will experience Thermal Overheating and Power Distributor Draw issues. Overheating damages your Ship's Modules and you don't have an Auto Field-Maintenance Unit on board. Shooting so many Mining Lasers at once will cause them to fizzle out sooner than the Asteroid will run out Metals or Minerals. Furthermore, if only Surface Mining, you could also replace the 0A Pulse Wave Analyser for an additional 0A Shield Booster (to help you with bumping into Asteroids or evading Pirates) or a 0I Point Defence (to keep those Pirate's Hatch Breaker Limpets away from your Cargo Hatch).
